Acoustic Fingerstyle Guitarist - Warren Taylor

Bio

After over a decade of playing in alternative rock bands, most notably with his current band The Post War, Warren Thompson is released his first solo full-length album “March to your Own” in 2022.

This fingerstyle acoustic LP features 8 original instrumental guitar tracks which showcase Warren’s unique fingerstyle techniques, rhythms, and voicings. “March to your Own” was recorded in Vancouver, BC, Canada at Fiddler Productions and Mixed and Mastered by Antoine Dufour.

Warren’s follow-up single “1885” will be released in February 2024. The song starts off like a locomotive, but opens up into a spacial array of harmonics, giving the listener a chance to breathe and enjoy the view before barreling back down the tracks.

Warren's influences include Calum Graham, Mike Dawes, Andy McKee, Thomas Leeb and his long-time mentor Dylan Ryche.

About ‘March to Your Own’

“When the pandemic hit, it was the perfect opportunity for me to explore the inner voice that was calling me to spend time writing new music and recording my acoustic song ideas. ‘March to your Own’ was written and recorded during this period as a creative outlet to turn the pandemic into an opportunity to share something new and meaningful with others.”
